Sport is a very exhausting activity. And not for people only… Shoes also suffer greatly. A person has to be strong and energetic to bear the hard physical intensity. What about shoes – are there any special requirements?
In many sports, such as running and basketball, athlete’s feet are subjected to high mechanical-dynamic loads. Clearly, shoes are of central importance to provide the feet with a firm hold, to protect them from injury and to improve sporting performance. Good shoes should behave like an extension of the foot. To enhance performance, sophisticated shoe structures are employed which make use of viscous and elastic foam materials such as ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and polyurethane (PU). Researches have shown that the distribution of pressure during physical exercises is not even on each part of foot. It is vital to choose the right material for the fingers, heel and ankle parts of shoes. Reebok, Adidas, Nike are the most famous sports shoes and apparel manufactures in the world. Competition on the market is huge; therefore, the choice of models and quality is enormous.
Reebok. Reebok International Limited is a manufacturer of athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories. The company is currently a subsidiary of Adidas. Reebok was founded by Joe and Jeff Foster in Bolton, United Kingdom. It has been on the market since 1895. At the present time, the corporate offices of the company are based in Bolton, United Kingdom; Hong Kong, China; Montréal, QC, Canada; Amsterda, Netherlands. Reebok became popular in 1982 after the introduction of the Freestyle athletic shoe.
Reebok athletic shoe models include Classic, Freestyle and the Pump. In January 2006, one of the company’s largest rivals, Adidas, acquired Reebok. In the address of the company come different reports from the customers. Some tend to claim that Reebok is better than others.
Customers have something to say. The majority of claims with Reebok shoes concern bad product quality. People say that they start ripping of in for months of walking only. Others are not satisfied that the company stops manufacturing this or that model of shoes, for example sneakers with the built up arch support. The existing models have drawbacks as well. Stitch threads may tear, soles unglue and the shoe bottoms are a subject to quick damage. Concerning customer service it should be noted that it is not customer friendly. They even use inappropriate language while corresponding or communicating with the customers.
It is always pleasant to buy a brand name, professional item. However, sometimes it is not worth a cent.
